Dr Barron is a GP based in London, UK and the founder of The Primary Cannabis Care Network. His interests within General Practice include mental health and managing complex symptoms that often combine physical, psychological and social components. A holistic approach to his clinical practice has led to an interest in medical cannabis as an alternative therapy for patients who have not found conventional therapies to be effective. He has undertaken specialist training in medical cannabis prescribing from leading physicians who are considered global experts in this emerging field of medicine.
Dr Barron is an executive committee member of The Medical Cannabis Clinicians Society and is member of The Drug Science Medical Cannabis working group and the Conservative Party Drug Policy Reform Group. He continues to undertake regular NHS work and is a visiting tutor for undergraduate medicine at University College London.
